“Liebe Kunden. Lust auf einen kleinen Wettbewerb?”

Haha…

a.)”Evian”?

b.)Oder “Vittel”?

c.)Oder vielleicht doch “Volvic”?

d.)Könnte es “Appolinaris” sein?

e.)Oder eher doch “Aquarel”?

…. Naaaaa? Die Umfrage will ich sehn! :)

Nasse Grüße - und immer dran denken: Du musst viiiiiiiiel trinken, mein Kind! ;)

Ps: “Deep Purple”-”Smoke On The Water” …. Weil’s so gut schmeckt! :)

So, the French Revolution was a little bit less ‘Chill & Grill’… English.

August 2nd, 2006

So there. After I spoilt myself with a looooong and ample sleep, and following directly on from this, a really good breakfast with a cup of tea (I love tea!), what happens? -  Its raining outside! And the new German spelling rules also piss me off. Pinkerton is sitting depressed in front of the window and doesn’t quite know why the sun is not shining – while my ‘one and only’ finds the rain and the coolness that comes with the rain really great… But, somehow… isn’t there a trace of insecurity there?

In and for themselves, sad grey days have something nice about them. Above all, Sundays where one can lie in all day in bed, watch cartoons and eat ice cream…. (Even, when on account of my advanced age, that happens less often.
Ohh, so long… How is the weather with you?
And for all those for whom it is also raining, a music tip:“Taking Back Sunday” - “Cute Without The E”….  but best of all, the acoustic version.  It fits so nicely to rain and to “looking-out-the-window”…. By the way, it also fits nicely to ice cream, to stroking cats and cups of tea. And to a nice breakfast and ample sleep…. So, listen to me!

OK, look here! English.

August 2nd, 2006

Yesterday our server crashed for a time. And what was the cause? Seemingly, something that we (once again! ) were not prepared for: rumours had spread that we were on the start page of RTL.de. Unfortunately, we could no longer be found there when I finally got to give it a geek. Unfortunately, there were no screenshots either… But, perhaps, it was an explanation for why we crashed.

OK, and what now: more rain!

Believing Is Art…. English.

August 3rd, 2006
Hallo! If you look out the window today everything looks like autumn, doesn’t it?
Yes, well then. How is my general state of being today? Oh, it could be better: outside it’s still raining most of the time, now and then you catch the glimpse of a ray of sunshine, but actually that’s barely worth talking about… Somehow it feels so nice and rainy and cool… Not completely winter, not completely spring either, and let’s not talk about summer… Rather… yes, autumn.  I’ll stay with this one. It’s more than enough. Well, at least, you can sleep right through, once again.
Here is my music tip for a pseudo-spring day like today: “Spoon” - “The Way We Get By”…. It makes everything a little less sad, I think. And hey! Go for a short walk and say hello to your neighbour or something similar, hm? … Or give the check-out chick in the supermarket a little smile, when you pay….

So, what else is new? Well, not much. Chocolate with whole almonds (I love almonds!) and a bit of a cold that makes it more difficult for me to taste the yummy almond chocolate. A sore throat, a cough, sniffles… Well, what else, autumn…

black hole sun, won’t you come? and wash away the rain…. English.

BILD Dir Deine Meinung. (= advertising slogan of „Bildzeitung“: BILD[-zeitung]: to you, your opinion.)
Oh yeah, Lynne has described it already. Such a strange thing. Us, in the BILDZEITUNG. You can’t imagine how strange it is to see your own face in the paper. SO strange. Well, unfortunately, I only realized this this evening. Thus,  I had to slip into my coat fast, then shoes (today with little skulls on them) and off in my car to the next gas station. Well, and when I was already underway, I came right into the middle of a rain shower. Of course, I couldn’t find a parking spot near the door – so I got thoroughly soaked and frozen right through. Certainly won’t do my cold any good…. :/

And this afternoon I was wondering why the girl in the supermarket addressed me…. Somehow, I feel as if I am being observed.
Well, now I’ll treat myself to a nice hot shower, slather on a bit of Eucalyptus balm and then go off to bed my with mini-kitty and with the television on and a nice warm cup of tea in my hand let the evening fade away.
Until tomorrow, then!
Oh yes, my music tip for all those, who got just as soaked and frozen through today as did: “The Kooks” - “Belly Love”…. And also for all those who were spared the same – the tip goes without saying!

Nothing new, but be prepared, my dears.

YouFM - Und was ist mit uns? :D English.

August 7th, 2006

So. Tomorrow we are this far. We will be guests for half a day on YouFM. For all those who don’t know about it: “YouFM” is a relatively large radio station with a relatively young target audience in Frankfurt. And they have a REALLY GREAT bill board with a little green star-man (don’t ask me what a ‘star-man’ is!) who holds a guitar in one hand and above him is written: “For us, every day is green!”
Really bitch’n. Very funny. Well, in any case…
You can tune in tomorrow… YouFM is – as far as I know - also present in the internet. Perhaps, that is also an option for all those who can’t get YouFM on your car radios….
In any case, we’ll be hearing each other later, perhaps!

And for listening until then: this time something toooootally commerical, very radio, but nevertheless quite fitting: “Beatles” - “Hello Goodbye”….

Tini-Tuss. English.

Oh well, after our exciting day yesterday Lynne and I fell into a deep sleep – unfortunately, in my case, it didn’t last long, because at exactly half past nine my little tomcat was standing right in front of me and was biting at my toes again. Well, what should I do? Somehow I don’t want to be mean to him… In the meantime, I have become rather scratched. Oh….  Oh well, wherever your love falls… You also have to take some, right?

Today, specifically and in general, is about being FREE. That’s a really great feeling, although the previous days didn’t feel like work either. Its rather strange to explain all this, I think. But it’s also cool.
And a while ago I was in my favourite supermarket acquiring mineral water (weeell? How good do you know us? Can you guess what mineral water Lynne and I drink? And, does that interest anyone here at all! ) – and then they didn’t have this brand there at all. Can you believe that? I mean, is that really possible?
:D Haha… Ok then, I can already see that that is not such an exciting story… Well, what did you guys do today? Or what do you still have planned? Or both? In any case… the perfect music for today is “Incubus” - “Drive”….
Guys and gals.. Be alert! Note, you’ve been told!

Tini-Tuss.

Tja, was will man machen?

Naja, was habt ihr denn heute schon so gemacht? Oder noch vor? Oder beides? Jedenfalls…. Ist die perfekte Musik für heute “Incubus” - “Drive”…. ;)

Mädels und Jungs…. Seit auf der Hut! Ihr wisst ja Bescheid! :)
